Abstract; An autopsy case (35-year-old woman), for which hypopituitarism due to pituitary stalk interruption was diagnosed as hypopituitarism in lifetime and which resulted in the death by the renal insufficiency due to rhabdomyolysis, is reported, and pituitary histopathology findings are shown. In this case, the injury by the perinatal period disorders was estimated to be the cause of pituitary stalk interruption. Though whether the changes in the pituicyte population are due to the primary disease or the modification by treatment is not clear, the future case integration is waited for.
