Abstract;A case (26-year-old man) of intrasellar tumors initially diagnosed as hypophyseal abscess is reported. After diagnosis of the recurrence of hypophyseal abscess, the transsphenoidal sinus cyst release method was conducted, and cystic intrasellar tumors were diagnosed in pathological diagnosis. Though squamous epithelial metaplasia of Rathke cleft cyst, craniopharyngioma of papillary type, epidermoid, etc. were pathohistologically considered as differential diagnosis, saccular intrasellar craniopharyngioma seemed most suitable as the diagnosis of this case.
