Abstract;A case (41-year-old man) of mixed medullary-follicular carcinoma (MMFC),which exhibited the unique findings associated with various follicle structures in the thyroid medullary carcinoma accompanied by the sacculation, is reported. Histological examination, immunohistochemistry using the anti-calcitonin antibody and the anti-thyroglobulin antibody, and the electron microscopy of MMFC were carried out. Findings of MMFC in this case showed the more varied findings than those in the previous report, and seem to reflect the existence of various causes in MMFC.
