Abstract;A case (57-year-old man) of primary lung squamous cell carcinoma diagnosed as diffuse goiter due to the metastasis, in which cervix swelling was the chief complaint, is reported. Diffuse goiter, lung tumors and cervical lymph node swelling were noticed, and squamous cell carcinoma cells were detected from every position by the puncture cytodiagnosis. Identification whether primary lesions were derived from the lung or the thyroid gland was difficult, and finally, thyroid gland metastasis of lung cancer was diagnosed from diagnostic imaging findings and from the clinical course of effective radiotherapy and anticancer drug therapy.
