| Abstract;The construction of recycling society aims at the contribution to saving resources, maintaining environment, and reducing wastes because the environment in Japan will be worse in 21th century. For example, materials are tried to recovered form many wastes such as scrap iron, scraped car, old home electric appliance, and waste paper on laws enacted with panicking. However, these purpose except the recycling of non-iron materials will not realize in Japan for the sophisticated structure of the industry, the various compositions of goods, the traditional system of Japanese society, their living styles and their view of lives. This presentation summarizes the reason why the recycling make the environment worse from the view points of theoretical aspect of thermodynamics, separation science, materials science and chemical engineering.
