| Abstract;In Japan various laws toward recycling-oriented society were fully equipped in 2000, and social demand for reduction and utilization of wastes became stronger. Plastic recycling have been practiced for a long time and 46% of all plastic waste was effectively utilized in any way in 1999. Based on legislative equipment and technology development, plastic recycling has a tendency to increase. At present enhancement of recycling of plastic container and packaging is an urgent subject.
