| Abstract;Japanese regulations on recycling waste of electric home appliances were enforced form April in 2001. Plastic materials for electric home appliances have to be recycled in near future. Material recycling of plastic has disadvantages, such as contamination and degradation of mechanical properties. So, properties of recycled plastic have to be improved. In this paper, new recycling technology of expanded polystyrene using limonene and chemical modification of waste polystyrene into a polymer flocculant or water absorbing resin are reported.
