Abstract;TiO2 photocatalyst is widely spreading into the industrial world related to the cleaning of environmental pollution. It started from the time, when we thought that TiO2 could be applied to the oxidative decomposition of germs, odorous substances and oily dust that exist in very small amounts in air. In recent years, we are also developing the electrochemical systems using boron-doped diamond electrode, which enabled us the rapid and highly sensitive analysis of the biological compounds. For application-oriented research, it is necessary to search for simple and more practical systems, that meet the requirements of the present world. (author abst.)
