Abstract; The sensory nerve conduction path must be understood in order to diagnose the sensory disturbance and to localize the disturbed region. The major sense conduction paths were shown in the figure. There is the high possibility of the cerebrovascular disorder, when crisis type of the sensory disturbance is sudden. Multiple sclerosises, brain tumor, spinal cord neoplasm, etc. are considered, when the crisis type of the disturbance is acute or subacute. It was explained that such information that the disturbed region was increasing gradually was important in the case. The sensory disturbance is a syndrome which is very difficult to seize, because it is always expressed by the patients' subject. Then, the type and spatial distribution of the sensory disturbance must be grasped. The examination should be divided roughly into the following for advancement : 1) Detailed inquiry, 2) Determination of type and region of the sensory disturbance, 3) Image examination, examination of cerebrospinal fluid, biochemical and serological examination.
