Abstract; The histopathology type of the tumor which arises in brain and spinal cord is various and also the generation age, generation region, growth rate, invasion ability, and therapy effect are various. However, in tumor of any system type, the clinical image has mainly the focal symptom by oppression and invasion of the nearby brain spinal nerve tissue. And, the increase of the tumor in the skull, intracranial pressure increase symptom by the reinforcement of the circumferential edema, and continuously occurring encephalocele appear, when the disease stage progresses. The lesion detectability of the MRI is very high, since it is excellent in the soft tissue contrast resolution. In addition, it is optimum for the detection of neoplastic lesion in the skull and spinal canal, because the bone artifact observed in the computed tomograph is not produced. Normal brain and spinal cord are depicted by the MRI, and the localization of the neoplastic lesion can be judged very clearly.
