Abstract; The crisis of the multiple sclerosis is abounding in the juvenile adults, the cause is uncertain in spite of the research from various sides by the present. However, it is assumed that some viral infection become a basis, and the autoimmune disease which recognizes myelin of central nervous system is formed, the blood - brain barrier is collapsed and the demyelination nestis produced in the central neuron by the activated T cell through the autoimmune mechanism as medium. It is important to prove the spatial frequent occurrence and time-related frequent occurrence of the important lesion for the diagnosis and to grasp the disease state in the examination plan. The MRI is the indispensable examination, because the lesion which can not be detected by the computed tomograph can be easily depicted. The myeleterosis can be discovered in about 10%, while the brain lesion can be discovered in 65% from the initial disease stage. Here, the major documents which showed brain MRI diagnostic criteria for the multiple sclerosis were introduced.
