Abstract; The myasthenia gravis can be caused by the antibody for nicotine action acetylcholine receptor in the neuromuscular junction. It is the disease to compain chiefly of easy fatigue of the muscle. The acetylcholine receptor as an antigen is analyzed comparatively well, and the elucidation is advanced in the autoimmune disease. However, it is uncertain on production mechanism of the anti-acetylcholine receptor antibody, combining thymoma, and role of the thymus gland abnormality. Value and symptom of the anti-acetylcholine receptor antibody often correlate in individual severe amyosthenia patient. It should be measured frequently if the symptom is fluctuated, and at 1 - 2 times a year if the symptom is stabilized. The crisis of myasthenia gravis is the dyspnea. By the weakness of the respiratory muscle, the disgorge of the sputum becomes difficult, and the saliva, etc. enters the air duct without swallowing, and then the dangerous suffocation condition can be made by this.
