| Abstract;It is difficult to identify the cause disease only in the image examination, and so the pleural effusion diagnostic puncture is indispensable except for those by clear cardiac insufficiency. The differentiation between leaking pleural effusion and exsudative pleural effusion was arranged in the table. It is important to distinguish that the pleural effusion is exsudate or leakage, when cause disease of the pleural effusion is differentiated. The standard of Light has been widely spreading since 1970's. In the future, the soluble leucocyte selectin will be taken up as an index to be applied clinically for the differentiation between leaking pleural effusion and exsudative pleural effusion. And, the pneumoscope is being expanding in the form that follows the laparoscopic operation which rapidly spread with the progress of recent electronic endoscope and video system. The pneumoscopy for diagnostic purpose is one of the indispensable techniques for the physician. |
