Abstract;The recognition that influenza is the disease to be distinguished clearly from many cold syndromes has already been made in Firenze in the 14 - 15 centuries. Though in influenza virus, there are three types of A, B and C, the type A and type B influenza are suggested, when the usual influenza is told. Then, it was proven that the new-model virus sometimes appeared for type A influenza virus, which caused the worldwide fashion. As a goal of the diagnosis, the following were described : Disease name decision, clinical diagnosis, influenza rapid diagnosis kit, follow-up, decision of the seriousness, effect measurement of the drug, and cure decision. As the examination items, the following were introduced : Peripheral blood set, inflammatory reaction, virological serologic reaction, pathogen diagnosis by the rapid diagnosis kit.
