Abstract;The hospital acquired pneumonia (HAP) is defined as the pneumonia contracted in over 48 hours after the hospitalization except for those already infected on admission. In this paper, diagnosis of the HAP, judgment of the seriousness, decision of therapy effect were described to consider the examination plan for the HAP. The detection of the phlogogenic fungus in the HAP is the important examination. The following are used for the retrieval method of the cause pathogen : Smear microscopy, separate culture, detection of the antigen, genetics diagnoses, serology diagnoses, etc.. However, there are advantages and disadvantages in these methods, respectively and the final judgement can be made by combining various examinations.Here, features of each method were described. And, the seriousness of the hospital acquired pneumonia is synthetically judged from clinical observations, hematologic opinions, image opinions, etc..
