Abstract;The angina pectoris can be caused by the blood flow failure of coronary artery due to the various causes. It is the ischemic heart disease of which main symptom is the chest pain. On the angina pectoris, the diagnosis to some degree is possible by the inquiry, and also the selection of the unstable angina pectoris which is easy to shift to myocardial infarction is possible by the detailed hearing of the medical history. The purpose of the examination is 1) differential diagnosis, 2) seriousness evaluation, and 3) prognosis evaluation. Only method for the definite diagnosis is the coronary angiography at present. As a differential diagnosis, the following were introduced : Electrocardiograms, chest radiograph, hearts ultrasonic testing, thoraxes computed tomograph photographing, blood examination, heart muscle scintigram, coronary angiography, etc.. As a seriousness evaluation, the following were described : Heart ultrasonic testing, heart muscle scintigram, vascular endoscope, intravenous ultrasonic waves, etc..
