Abstract; It was thought before that the rheumatism fever decreased by the appearance of antibacterial agent and the valvular disease would decrease accordingly. However, actually the aging society is going to be met in Japan, and accordingly the valvular disease which accompanies with ischemic heart disease and the valvular disease as degenerative disease increase. The echocardiography was described mainly. The rising of the aortic valve echo luminance and limitation of opening and contraction stage doming of valve cusp are recognized as direct opinions in the sutra parapet echocardiogram. The expansion of aorta ascendens and the left ventricular hypertrophy are recognized as indirect opinions. In the electrocardiogram, a negative T wave and the ST lowering are recognized reflecting the left ventricular hypertrophy. And, it is accompanied by the abnormality of a P wave by the left atrial load. In the echocardiography, not only the diagnosis but also the decision of the seriousness are possible by applying the continuous wave Doppler method in acceleration blood flow which passes aortic orifice, and by obtaining the LV and aortic pressure difference.
