Abstract;Infection and nutrition control are important problems in management of acute stroke. Infection control including precautions of nosocomial infection, antibiotics therapy, surveillance, and nutrition control including evaluation, decision of feeding access and contents should be performed with unified manners in wards or departments. Therefore infection control team (ICT) and nutrition support team (NST) which are organized across each ward or department may resolve problems of nosocomial infection and nutrition in patients with acute stroke. Guidelines and manuals for prevention and treatment of nosocomial infection, surveillance, conference and walking round can help works of ICT and NST. (author abst.)
