Abstract;Treatment of fluorine-containing acetylene derivatives with Bu3SnH in the presence of a catalytic amount of AIBN gave the corresponding vinylstannanes regio- and stereoselectively, which were subjected to the Pd(0)-catalyzed coupling reaction with various halides to afford the tri-substituted alkenes in high yields. Vinylcoppers, produced via the carbocupration reaction of fluorine-containing acetylene derivatives with various cyanocuprates, also reacted with halides to give the corresponding tetra-substituted alkenes in high yields.
