| Abstract;Chiral sec-alcohol (1) obtained by CBS reduction of 2'-bromo-2,2,2-trifluoroacetophenone is hardly racemized due to its high chemical stability. Using the stability of 1, new chiral phosphine ligand was synthesized by substitution of bromine of 1 with PPh2 followed by condensation with 2-(diphenylphosphino)benzoic acid. (author abst.) |
