| Abstract;Lipase-catalyzed asymmetric acylation of an allylic alcohol has been demonstrated in an ionic solvent system ([bmim]PF6). Because the product was easily extracted from the reaction mixture with ether, the reaction was repeated several times by adding the substrate and acyldonor with maintain the enzyme in the solvent system.
