| Abstract;Insertion of HF molecules into the galleries of fluorine-graphite intercalation compounds (CxF) with 1st stage structures occurs when they are immersed in HF at 298K. It increases the interlayer distances of the compounds while their conductivities decreases. Permittivities of the compounds with HF are more frequency-dependent than that of the sample without HF, suggesting that the orientation or rearrangement of HF molecules in the galleries affects to the polarization processes.
