Abstract;A new oxide fluoride glass containing TbF3 in TbF3-BaF2-AlF3-GeO2 system was synthesized. The temperature of the melt was 1200.DEG.C.. Fluorescence spectra of the glasses were measured and changed along Tb3+ concentration. The color of emission light also changed green to orange which TbF3 concentration was about 30mol%.
