Abstract;The electrochemical fluorination of esters of carboxylic acid with a morpholino group was carried out in order to investigate the relation between the structure of the alkyl group and the yields of fluorinated products (perfluoroacid fluoride and perfluorocyclic ether). Perfluorooxolanes were formed as major cyclization products from the ECF of morpholino-substituted carboxylic acids when the chain length of the alkyl group of the carbon number of three or more and the structure of the alkyl group was branched in such a way as to allow cyclization.
