Abstract;A variety of fluoroalkyl end-capped cooligomers containing blocked-isocyanato segments were prepared by the reactions of fluoroalkanoyl peroxides with isocyanatoethyl methacrylate 2-butanone oxime adduct(IEM-BO) and N,N-dimethylacrylamide(DMM). These fluoroalkyl end-capped IEM-BO-DMAA cooligomers were shown to have a good solubility in water and common organic solvents. Interestingly, dynamic light scattering analyses showed that these fluoroalkyl end-capped cooligomers, especially, the longer fluoroalkylated cooligomers are likely to form the molecular aggregates.
