| Abstract;We have done the research of the movement system that operate easily and move safety for electric wheelchair, heretofore. Though, because a problem remained in terms of safety and also comfort in previous research, we did an improvement in environment recognition. This system implements the environment recognition of the wheelchair surroundings to the real time by the data of plural infrared distance sensor that established it in the wheelchair front and also left aspect. And it does the drawing of the rough map of configuration, from the data that was accumulated in accordance with moving of the wheelchair. On the basis of the map information that is updated every the specified time, it does navigation such as obstacle avoidance, deceleration, stoppage. (author abst.) |
