Abstract;A case of (10-year-old female infant) of the tumor forming optic neuritis exhibiting growth hormone secretion disorders and diabetes insipidus is reported. Nonspecific diffuse inflammatory findings were observed by the biopsy, and tumor forming optic neuritis was diagnosed by adding intraoperative findings. Tumors never responded to steroid therapy. Differential diagnosis with germ cell tumors and with inflammatory pseudotumor, etc. is necessary, and the follow-up is being carried out at present by periodic head MRI.
