| Abstract;A case (48-year-old man) of hypophyseal stalk fracture syndrome, which contracted adrenal insufficiency in adulthood, is reported. This case was pituitary dwarfism, and fracture of the hypophyseal stalk and atrophy of the hypophysis were observed by MRI. From the GRH examination and the insulin test, applicability to diagnostic criteria of the adult GH secretion lowering disease was considered. As the internal use result of hydrocortisone, improvement of hyponatremia and whole-body feeling of fatigue was noted. |
