Abstract; As one of pathophysiology of congenital hypopituitarism, a disease unit by the defect of the common carotid artery and the internal carotid artery or by hypoplasia exists. A case (11-year-old boy) of pituitary hypoplasia accompanied by the left internal carotid artery defect is reported. In this case, apertura piriformis stenosis and maxillary single incisor were not accompanied, and hypoplasia of left common carotid artery and pituitary hypoplasia by the left internal carotid artery defect were exhibited. In spite of the blood supply from the healthy side internal carotid, the mechanism of pituitary hypoplasia is uncertain.
