Abstract;A case (42-year-old woman), which shifted to Grave disease during the course of chronic thyroiditis at the opportunity of the complication of subacute thyroiditis, is reported. This case shifted to Grave disease in the short period of about 2 months at the opportunity of the onset of subacute thyroiditis. It is necessary to carry out the follow-up considering the possibility of the subacute thyroiditis complication and the Grave disease onset, even if TSH receptor antibody is negative and thyroid function is normal, when cervicodynia is noticed during the course of chronic thyroiditis.
