| Abstract;The hemoptysis is defined as "the expectoration of the hemorrhage from alveoli pulmonis and lower respiratory tract with the cough". Over 75 types of disease and disease state as a cause of the hemoptysis are reported. The frequencies such as bronchitis (chronic and acute), bronchiectasis, pulmonary tuberculosis (the obsolete is also contained), lung cancer are high among them. As a point of the diagnosis, the degree and cause of the hemoptysis are various.A knowledge of hemoptysis itself as a matter of course, the wide knowledge and diagnostic technique on each disease as the cause and disease state are required.The medical examination must be carried out systematically for the selection of the appropriate inspection and squeezing of the cause disease. Here, it was explained in order of 1) Diagnosis of the hemoptysis, 2) Decision of the seriousness, 3) Differential diagnosis. The judgement combined with careful inquiry and medical examination can be important information for differential diagnosis. |
