Abstract;The bronchial asthma has been recognized as a disease with air duct anaphylaxia and reversibility from the morphological features in a past. However, recently the bronchofiberscope enabled the mucous membrane of bronchus biopsy and broncho-alveolar lavation safely and it was clarified that the inflammation of chronic air duct exists in the severe patients, of course and the slight asthmatic patients. And, the use of antiphlogistic mainly on the inhalation steroid was also carried out for the treatment, and the daily management would be recognized to be important. The above facts were added to the examination plan of the asthma. The following were described : Chest X-ray examination, sputum examination, blood examination, cutis test, pulmonary function test, special examination, thorax computed tomograph, and bronchoscopy. The diseases to be differentiated were arranged in the table.
