Abstract; Two cases of congenital neuroblastoma with paraplegia which showed the symptom of paralysis of the lower limb at the early postnatal period and definitely diagnosed at the infancy are reported, and the therapeutic plan for the 24 cases reported in this country is examined. The fundamental principle in the treatment of this disease is to perform the biopsy or the excision, if possible, of the paravertebral or back tumor, and to apply chemotherapy after diagnosing the tissue and the biological characteristics. The vital prognosis is improved by the treatment, but the paralysis of the lower limb is not improved in many cases. The management of treatment in a long-term is necessary for rectovesical disorders, scoliosis, the contructure of joints or dysbasia.
