| Abstract; In order to find a clue to improve the prognosis of the hepatoblastomas of children, the actual states of treatment in the 32 cases experienced at 8 facilities in the past decade were studied. Cisplatin + doxorubicin treatment was performed in 13 cases, and other polypharmacies were performed in 16 cases, with less recurrences for the latter than for the former. Among the 9 cases in which salvage chemotherapy was performed where the tumor remained minutely or was at remission, only one case of recurrence was found. It was indicated that powerful chemotherapies including salvage chemotherapy improve the prognosis of the hepatoblastoma. |
