| Abstract;Polarization current model solving method (PCMM), one of volume integral equation methods, is used for analysis on electromagmetic field scattering and radiation from dielectrics, and so on. Authors was proposed whole areas moment method: mode development PCMM (M-PCMM) developing polarization current density with hemispheric wave functions, to apply it to analysis of dielectric scattering. In this paper, this M-PCMM was applied to analysis of dielectrics resonator antenna (DRA) exciting rectangular dielectrics by using linear probes, to compare with results tested actually. And, comparisons with approximation based on dielectric waveguide model and results based on HFSS of Ansoft Inc. analyzing by using finite element method were also carried out. Three analytical methods showed to give sufficient results for resonant frequencies and no-load Q, and that M-PCMM and HFSS gave values near tested values on gain, radiation efficiency, and so on. Especially, it was confirmed that even by slightly changing intervals of the electrics and outer probes, features of DRA were largely affected. |
