Abstract;For higher harmonic wave control of transmission features at microstrip lines, some basic investigations on a method placing magnetic loss materials on lines were carried out. For this purpose, an analysis model capable of correctly evaluating S11 and S21 by using FDTD method was constructed, to carry out analyses on transmission features, radiation powers, and loss powers of substrates and magnetic loss materials. As a result, it could be quantitatively confirmed that the magnetic loss materials were effective for the higher harmonic wave control, and that their transmission features were largely affected by loss powers in the magnetic loss materials.
