Abstract;A case (58-year-old woman) of acromegaly, for which combination therapy of operation, Sandostatin and .GAMMA.-knife was remarkably effective, is reported. Acromegaly was diagnosed from the test results. Tumor extraction was conducted by craniotomy in a week after the administration start of Sandostatin. From the result, GH and IGF-1 were normalized by combination therapy of 3 treatments, and the normal values were maintained even after the discontiuance. It is indicated that combination therapy exerted remarkable effects.
