| Abstract;A case (69-year-old man) of ACTH producing pituitary macroadenoma, in which the dissociation of the blood ACTH value and the cortisol level was observed and the Cushing sign was not revealed, is reported. ACTH producing pituitary macroadenoma was diagnosed from pituitary MRI, endocrinologic examination findings, etc., and transnasal tumor extraction was conducted. As the result of examining biochemical properties of plasma ACTH of the patient, the existence of ACTH of higher molecular weight in addition to the peak of ACTH of the normal molecular weight was indicated. |
