| Abstract; As the adult case of the pituitary dwarfism exhibiting adrenal insufficiency, 2 cases (34-year-old woman, 32-year-old man) of the hypophyseal stalk rupture syndrome are reported. Both 2 cases exhibited the lowering of blood GH,LH,FSH and thyroid hormone from the comparatively early stage, and showed the clinical course in which the secretion spare ability of ACTH and cortisol seemed to decrease after 25 years of age. Disease states of hypothalamic hypopituitarism are considered, because ACTH and GH in both 2 cases are not responsive to the ITT and are responsive to CRH and GRH. |
