Abstract;A female infant case (5-year-old) of hyperthyroidism contracted in a 3-year-old child and found in the opportunity of the urine sugar detection is reported, and the endocrinologic examination was carried out. Since the reaction of TSH to the TRH load was suppressed and the anti-TSH receptor antibody (TRAb) was positive, hyperthyroidism was diagnosed. Glucose tolerance abnormality was shown. As the result of the start of PTU (propylthiouracil) treatment, the thyroid hormone value normalized and TRAb became negative.
