Abstract;The hydraulic clutch system of automobile is conventionally equipped with a master cylinder (M/CYL) and operating cylinder (OP/CYL). At the time of maintenance work for the clutch, the OP/CYL is detached from the clutch proper, so that no flow-out of fluid can occur. But, in the case of a newly developed system, where the concentric slave cylinder (CSC) is adopted instead of OP/CYL, a flow-out of fluid can occur at the time of maintenance work, because the CSC is installed within the clutch housing. Our company has developed a kind of quick coupler which is intended to be used in order to have no flow-out of fluid even in this case. Here, the structure, etc. of this quick coupler are explained.
