| Abstract; As FDTD method is easy to model, it is widely used for analysis of antenna on dielectric substrates such as printed antennas and so on. On the other hand, as on FDTD method rectangular cells are used in general, antennas with curved shape are modeled in stepped forms. Therefore, their calculation errors become larger. As a method to solve this, as a method to use arbitrary shaped cells, a method to modify a part of rectangular cells, and so on are known, even if using these methods for antennas on dielectric substrates, enough precision can scarcely been obtained. Therefore, authors proposed a method to carry out quasi-static approximation of electric field near antennas on dielectric substrates, to extremely upgrade calculation precision by combining it with FDTD method. This paper confirmed its effectiveness by applying this method to analysis of antennas on dielectric substrates with folded shapes. |
