The following were presented: clinical developement and tissue type in 23 cases of total extirpation, 1 case of partial resection and 1 case of biopsy; clinical findings, urinary VMA value and urinary HVA value at the initial visit of 82 cases. Requirements for no treatment are as follows: 1) the disease is to be in Stage I or II, 2) at the initial visit, urinary VMA value and urinary HVA value are to be 50.MU.g/mgCre, 3) tumor size is less than 5cm in maximum diameter, 4) tumor is not to develop too early to be extirpated; 5) tumor is not to surround significant blood vessels, 6) tumor is not to exist in the spinal canal. 64 cases(80%) came uder the requiremewnts of 1)-3).
