Abstract; The case(a male infant) had left cervical tumor of thumb-size about 9 months after birth. Because of tendency to keep growing, he was taken to our hospital. Fibrinoid structure in the tumor being recognized by MRI testing, he was diagnosed as sternocleidmastoid muscle tumor. He was not relieved freom torticollis even past 1 years old, so that left sternocleidomastoid muscle was subtotally resected. The torticollis being improved, he was diagnosed as fibromatosiscolli. Though the recurrence was repeated in about one-year cycle(at age of 2 years and 2 months, 3 years and 6 months, 4 years 10 months and 5 years 9 months), the extirpation was easily conducted with no sequela. Since then there were recurrences overall 6 times(at age of 7 years, 7 years and 7 months 8 years and 6 months). Since extirpation finally became impossible, radiotherapy was conducted. 2 months after irradiation, tumor reduced to 50%, proceeding to be with no regrowth as of age of 11 years and 8 months.
