Abstract;Onset of the case(a female infant) was at age of 13, with the chief complaint of right exophthalmos. The primary tumor was on parameningis. The titled tumor was large in diameter with lymph node infiltration, so that total extirpation was difficult at the time. The tumor was with alveolal tissue-type and in Stage III(T2, b, N1, M0), having many factors of poor prognosis. The gamma knife radiosurgery was done after chemotherapy according to the protocol of the cancer research team in Ministry of Health and Welfare. In addition, 7 courses of the chemotherapy was done. Then specific high-dose chemotherapy(HDC) in combination with autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation(aPBSCT) was scheduled. After HDC, lung lesion disappeared to be evaluated as reremission. Thus the HDC with aPBSCT was done again. After the HDC, remission was retained. However, 140 days after finishing therapy, there was recurrence due to disseminated meningioma.
