| Abstract;Case 1(a male infant of 7 months old) was diagnosed as matastasis of primary pelvic RMS through canalis inguinalis. 1 course of VAC therapy was done. Then 5 courses of new A1 protocol for neuroblastoma were done. Simultaneously, irradiation was carried out to pelvic tumor. The tumor reduced, remaining only in left lobe of prostate. Afterwards, 10 courses of new A1 protocol for neuroblastoma were given as aftertreatment. Thus all treatments were finished during 2 years and 6 months. As of 8 years after the onset, there had been complete remission with no radiation damage. Case 2(a male infant of 2 years and 6 months old) was diagnosed as IRS Group IV derived from primary pelvic tumor. 3 courses of the chemotherapy according to IRS regimen 36 were done. Though tumor cell disappeared, the tumor did not reduced. Instead, 3 courses of the protocol of the cancer research team in Ministry of Health and Welfare were done to result in disappearance of the bone marrow matastasis. Then subtotal extirpation of the primary tumor was done. After operation, radiotherapy and specific high-dose chemothrapy with peripheral blood stem cell transplantation were conducted to finish all treatments. As of 2 years after the onset, there had been complete remission with neither urinary disturbance nor dyschezia. |
