| Abstract;HPF/SX V2 is a High Performance Fortran compiler for SX-6/SX-7. It has unique features for handling irregular problems. Users can define a HALO region, that is, the shadow area for an irregularly distributed array, and can update it, refer it, and apply reduction operation to it explicitly. We have obtained good scalability for an FEM program with the HALO feature on an SX-7 prototype. (author abst.) |
