| Abstract;Revolutionary changes in rice plant breeding technology have started since post rice plant genome sequencing era has arrived. Using advanced technologies such as SNP analysis technology, it becomes possible to produce novel rice plant species precisely introduced only important phenotypes in one severalfoldth of conventional period without depending on gene recombination by hastening alteration of generation together with analysis of whole genome area. This paper discusses details of this technology, "breeding based on genome-wide selection", and its possible industrialization. |
