| Abstract; To enable to high reliability multicast communication (MCC) without changing TCP protocol most frequently used for internet at present, here was proposed TCP multicast using GRA (generic router assist) routers. As a result of evaluation on features of this MCC by using a simulator, it was clarified that through-put features on whole of MCC was determined by bottleneck links on transmission bands. To upgrade features of MCC with the bottleneck links, here was proposed an environment adaptation type MCC method to divide multicast trees with the bottleneck links, to perform TCP multicast at every sub-tree units. As a result of carrying out its feature evaluation by simulation, it could be shown by the proposed method that the bottleneck links relaxed effects on whole of multicast and upgrading features on whole of multicast could be performed. |
