Abstract;Communication service software (SLP) practicable on communication service at advanced intelligent network (IN) can be automatically formed by describing diagram type of service specifications with service forming environment (SCE). In this paper, was proposed a service specification description (SSD) method with easy description, high resolution, and high descriptive capacity on comparison with conventional description method as a method describing diagram type of service specification for forming SLP. For conventional descriptions, a method corresponding functional block (SIB) and description element (corresponding to icon) independent upon service proposed at ITU-T to one to one is widely adopted. However, there are some cases where functional unit of SIB is large, and reusability and comprehensibility as service specification are unsufficient. The proposed description method enabled SSD with advanced IN by expanding the description capacity adding the description elements on a base of information sequence diagrams previously proposed by authors. This description method was confirmed its easiness and comprehensibility of description by evaluation using examiners of non-expert. And, by applying this description method to SLP description of plural business services, it could be confirmed to prepare required description capacity.
